Claudia has been performing since the age of four, beginning with dance, and moving on to music and theater arts. In Houston, Texas she studied at Johnston Middle School for the Performing Arts majoring in Theater and Mariachi Band. She went on to graduate from the Houston School for the Performing and Visual Arts, majoring in Theater.
Years later she graduated from the Prestigious University of Minnesota/Guthrie Theater Actor Training Program with a BFA in Acting, and serving as the Valedictorian in 2005 of the College fo Liberal Arts.
After Graduating she continued to work in the Twin Cities as an Actor/Singer while pursuing playwrighting through the Jerome Foundation’s Many Voices Fellowship at the Minneapolis Playwright’s Center, which she was awarded in 2006.
She then moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in theater with stops in TV/Film. She has since continued to work onstage and onscreen, as well as perform as singer, show host, puppeteer and more. She has been invited to speak at conferences such as “Encuentro” in Los Angeles, in 2009 where she moderated a panel on Arts Activism. Claudia also works as a dialect and acting coach, freelance.
